On December 16, Binh Thuan Department of Natural Resources and Environment sent an urgent dispatch to the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control and Search and Rescue on the situation of responding to oil spills from Hoang Thien 99 ship. overturned in the area in front of Phan Thiet Transport Port, Binh Thuan province.

Currently due to tides, water pressure changes, so there is still oil leaking into the environment.
